I would describe my work as that of a storyteller. Journaling a story that travels through the ages, through history, through event and moment, and recording them in paint.

The story seeks to capture with colour, shape, shadow and layer, a notable tale. With small detailed line, and passionate coloured expression of voice, that tale is noted in paint upon a surface.

Each new painting marks its own starting point in an on-going relationship between myself and the world. The world of now, and the world of yesterday, and my colourful interpretation of it.

I discover my stories by looking in on life, with a thirst and fascination for event, motion, imagination and history. I leave my thoughts by painting them down on to the wood and on to the canvas of glass.
