Restoration
Inside a world that changes all too quickly, we have a chance to take up the reins of a piece and help hold it in time. At JMD, we don’t subscribe to making something new again, for with that, it’s story– it’s magical tale of travel– would be lost. We must take care to repair the damage, but then to disappear carefully inside the work as we do so, leaving its singular original beauty behind. It’s character, nuance, and history must be left without our voice; it’s surface pristinely preserved and held for all it’s future days.
