RESTORATION

Inside a world that changes all too quickly, we have a chance to take up the reins of a piece and help to hold it in time. I don’t subscribe to making something new again, for with that it’s story, it’s magical tale of travel, would be lost.
We must take care to attend to and to repair the damage, but then to disappear carefully inside the work as we do so, leaving its singular original storied beauty behind. It’s character, nuance and history, must be left without our voice. It’s surface “page” pristinely preserved and held, for all it’s future days.
