FURNITURE

I grew up around antiquity. Salvaged, time-honoured pieces saved through early family, wartime days, and from constant use across the years.
I love old pieces, the classics of form, curve, and colour, that dared to shape in their day what became the popular styles we still refer to across the centuries.
My background in art history, architecture and design, have instilled in me acutely sensitive attention to the trends, and forms across the ages. Attention given to the most micro of details. Integrity of material for building a piece is a must, as is the same integrity placed towards its proportion, colour, shape and scale. The result should always be a cohesive marry of constructed elements together with its painted ones.
